Seven LeadUp mentors and students flew to Greece for two weeks and ran a camp for 60 refugee children. The camp ran workshops, tutoring, and personal development sessions. The goal was simple: help kids catch up in school.

Before and after the camp, we kept teaching online. Zoom classes helped refugee students build their English before they moved on to new homes in other European countries, and many of those classes turned into friendships.
